TRAINING RETREATS & HOSTED TRIPS
Dr. Fly Consulting’s owner and principle consultant, Dr. Bryan McMurry is an expert fly fisher, Alaska guide and consultant to the fly-fishing industry and offers educational retreats to a variety of fly-fishing destinations. Our marketing and sales training approach utilizes fly fishing principles in an adult learning environment. Adults learn by doing, so an interactive approach is employed where fly fishing and marketing/sales principles are juxtaposed in a memorable outdoor setting.
During the North American summer, we operate from Talkeetna, Alaska specializing in large Rainbow trout. We offer a variety of day and extended wilderness trips customized to your specifications. The hosted trips can include training and educational programs suited to your business needs if desired.

Our primary Autumn retreat location is in Northern California near the Klamath River. The Klamath River is one of the premiere Steelhead destinations in the U.S. Our educational retreats in the Fall are held at our training location approximately 10 miles from the river. We use local guides for our recreational day trips during your educational retreat.
Additionally, Dr. Fly Consulting offers trip planning and hosting to fly fishing destinations in North, South and Central America, including the Caribbean.
