ABOUT

Dr. Bryan "BMac" McMurry

Prior to launching Dr. Fly Consulting Dr. Bryan ‘BMac’ McMurry spent 27 years as a marketing and sales manager for Cargill, Inc. Nearly half of his career was spent in Cargill’s corporate office in Minneapolis leading marketing and sales efforts in their Animal Nutrition division. While at Cargill BMac developed and launched a number of highly successful products and their associated marketing and sales campaigns. Based on those successes he developed Customer Centric Marketing™ (CCM), the only fully integrated marketing and sales process available.

BMac grew up in ranching and beef production in Siskiyou, County, California near the Oregon border.  After his honorable discharge from the United States Army, he began his academic career at California State University Chico earning a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business. He then went on to earn his Master’s Degree and Ph.D. from Texas A&M University. In 1992 he joined Cargill Animal Nutrition as a Sales Consultant. Over a 27-year career he served as a product manager, sales manager, business development manager, brand manager and ultimately a marketing manager for many of Cargill Animal Nutrition’s programs, products and services worldwide.

Over that same 27-year time period BMac developed his fly-fishing skills by fishing countless rivers with fly fishing guides and friends learning and honing his skills. Seeking the advice of others, he established a network, contacts that could help him become a better fly fisher, teacher, person, and how to serve others as a fly-fishing consultant. His fly-fishing passion became one of helping others when during a fishing trip to Alaska chasing big rainbow trout, he first made the connection between successful marketing and successful fly fishing. From that epiphany he developed Customer Centric Marketing™. His life’s mission is to share with others how to use these principles to build and market products and services that improves people’s lives.
